NYOUG on LinkedIn

We have started an official NYOUG group on the professional networking site LinkedIn. This group will expand your opportunities for networking and provide a means for initiating direct member-to-member communications. To be sure that you are joining the correct group, search for the group "New York Oracle Users Group", with the NYOUG logo and Michael Olin as the owner.

Please keep in mind that anyone who joins the NYOUG email list will be allowed to join this group. This includes vendors, recruiters, consultants, journalists, students, developers, DBAs - you name it. If they can join our email list, they can join the LinkedIn NYOUG group.

Whatever means of contact you allow on LinkedIn will be available to ANYONE who joins this group. If you are not interested in being contacted by others, don't join the group (but then you wouldn't be on LinkedIn either, would you?).

NYOUG has no control over the use of any information that you disclose on LinkedIn, and is not responsible for how that information may be used by other members of the LinkedIn NYOUG group.

For now, the News and Discussions features of the group are active, but NYOUG reserves the right to disable these features at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
